February 2007 – Present
As the art director at Rêv Worldwide, I am responsible for a variety of tasks. I produce various materials, from web site comps to debit cards to direct mail to packaging. The materials I produce are distributed internationally and are translated in languages as diverse as Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish and French. I work on a team with 2 other designers; a creative director predominantly in charge of print collateral and an interactive director who primarily works on the web sites. Rêv has it’s hands in a variety of markets, including but not limited to: banking, mobile applications, mobile payments, funding start-ups and non-profit ventures.
August 2010 – Present
As a consultant for TabbedOut (ATX Innovation), I am responsible for multiple aspects of the application and its marketing. In addition to creating print materials to support the awareness of the application, I create web assets and in-app advertisements as well. My role as a consultant also requires me to help the development team implement new features. This includes brainstorming both UI and UX scenarios, designing the assets for both iPhone and Android handsets and exporting the pieces in a variety of resolutions for their deployment. Lastly, I support the business development team in their pitches to prospective clients, including Bacardi, Patron, Shiner and dozens of other prospective brands.
December 2006 – February 2007
As an art director at LatinWorks I was responsible for executing ideas the creative directors conjured up and bringing them to fruition. I was in charge of producing mechanicals and reproducing print and web graphics for clients such as Domino’s, Budweiser, NetSpend, Chevrolet and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
March 2004 – December 2006
As the art director at NetSpend, I was responsible for predominantly print collateral. I produced posters, postcards, direct mail, presentations and prepaid debit cards on a team of 3 designers. My role as art director also included tasks that supported the web team, creating online advertising campaigns, mocking up websites and making email templates. Pieces developed in-house were completed in multiple languages and were laid out in both Spanish and English at a minimum. Strategic partners included Money Box, ACE Cash Express, HEB and Randall’s.

The three of us produced one bi-monthly publication, three monthly publications, and two upscale lifestyle magazines that went to press every other month. We were personally responsible for flight-checking our own sections, as well as aiding the editors in making corrections and changes to the copy after the text had been flowed.
